    About Children's Science Explorium in Boca Raton, FL

    At the Children's Science Explorium, located in Sugar Sand Park, children and their caregivers can explore a world of science and learning! Our free, hands-on science center is designed for children 5 – 12 years of age and features interactive exhibits, programs and camps that bring the physical sciences to life. Our permanent collection is enhanced each year by a variety of exciting traveling exhibits. From rockets to molecules, the Explorium is sure to engage and teach kids all about the fascinating world of science!

    Programs at Children's Science Explorium in Boca Raton, FL

    Explorium Science Squad

    Join us at the Explorium for a fun and hands-on learning experience. Every month during the school year we will spend an hour investigating a new topic, working as a team to discover something remarkable! Classes meet at 4pm and are broken up into age groups. On Tuesdays, *Budding Scientists (Ages 5 to 7) and their parents are invited to take on the fundamentals of scientific principles. Wednesday classes are for our more experienced Researchers (Ages 8 to 12), who will work together to dig deeper into the topics at hand.

    Early Afternoon Explorers

    These monthly, hour-long classes for home-schoolers offer explorers a chance to participate in fun and educational science programs, focusing on a different topic each month. Classes are one hour long, and divided into age groups. The first expedition takes fledgling explorers (ages 6 to 9) on an engaging and interactive adventure of the basic scientific principles. More in-depth exploration is at hand for the more experienced trail-blazers (ages 10 to 12), in the second hour of the program.
