SPRING CAMP

Spring break camp is offered during Seminole County Public School’s spring break week. Camp is designed to provide each participant with an experience filled with fun and learning. Daily activities include sports, games, movies, and field trips. Available for children ages 6 to 14.

SUMMER CAMP

Altamonte Springs Recreation offers a supervised nine-week summer camp. The program is for children ages 6 to 12 who are Altamonte Springs residents. If your child has completed kindergarten and turns 6 prior to the end of the program, your child is able to participate. A birth certificate may be required.

SPECIAL NEEDS

Altamonte Springs Special Needs Recreation, in partnership with the Advisory Board for the Disabled, Inc., provides social and recreational activities at a minimal cost to individuals with mental or physical disabilities, ages 13 and up in Altamonte Springs and surrounding communities. An individual is considered a “general” participant if they can independently feed themselves, self-reliantly use the restroom and can function in a group setting. If assistance is required for these tasks, then the individual is considered an “assisted” participant and an assistant (i.e., family member, caretaker) is required to accompany them at all times.

AQUATICS

Altamonte Spring Recreation offers year-round aquatics activities and programs. The outdoor pool facility features a zero-depth entry play area with interactive water features, open swim and lesson area, lap lanes for exercise and competitive swimming, shade canopies, locker rooms and a family restroom. The Therapeutic Pool features a ramped entry for water wheelchair access, independent chairlift, exercise rails, massaging jets, locker rooms and a family restroom.
