About Hoops4Life, Inc.

Hoops4life Inc. is a non-profit organization that caters to children between the ages of nine and eighteen years old, with a focus on families from low to moderate-income backgrounds. Our mission is to provide leadership and sportsmanship tools, while also promoting education and healthy lifestyle choices. We strive to instill a sense of responsibility and dedication to our participants, while also encouraging them to pursue their passions. With our help, young people can develop the skills and knowledge needed to create successful careers and businesses in the areas that interest them. By working together and maintaining a winning attitude, Hoops4life Inc. is prepared to help children reach their full potential.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
Our mission is to bring an innovative project to at-risk youth in Great Waterbury area. Destined 4 Success goal is identify young people who have the desire to create businesses, assist them with business plan development, and offers a positive support system.

STEAM PROGRAM
Our goal is to translate the love of Steam into an appreciation, understanding, and passion of the science, mathematics,and art underlying sport. Through this approach, we aim to empower students who may be under performing academically by relating core curriculum topics. These lessons can be implemented into an after school program, student field trips, summer camps, teacher workshops, or as a supplement to classroom activities.

SPORTSOMETRY
Sportsometry curriculum provides a unique approach to learning math and physics. We take learning from the classroom to the field and gym and apply the use of sports and athletics to improve students' cognitive skills and spatial ability.
