Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens offers developmentally appropriate, nature-based programs for children and families. Sensory Garden - Take a tour of our new Sensory Garden! Explore how our senses help us interpret the world. Discover special adaptations that animals have developed to help them survive in the wild. Vegetable Garden - Discover just how delicious gardening can be! Tour our vegetable garden, learn fun facts about some of your favorite foods, harvest fresh vegetables straight from the garden, and start your own herb plant to take home.

The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens offers inquiry-based science programs that extend the school curriculum and align with NGSS and CT State Science Standards. Sessions are offered Seasonally.
