    About Northford Ice Pavilion in Northford, CT

    The Northford Ice Pavilion is a premier ice skating complex located in the Northford area of North Branford, Connecticut, making it the perfect spot for families and hockey fans alike! This state-of-the-art facility is home to a number of high school ice hockey teams, and formerly hosted the Connecticut Whale of the Premier Hockey Federation in the 2016-17 season. Additionally, the Northford Ice Pavilion was the home of the NCAA Division I program of Quinnipiac Bobcats men's ice hockey, prior to the opening of their own TD Banknorth Sports Center. With its convenient location and excellent amenities, the Northford Ice Pavilion is a great choice for your next outing.

    Come skate with us during our public skate times! Open to all ages. There are no figure skating moves allowed during public skate. Rental skates and walkers are available. Skates and walkers are first come first serve.

    Learn the basics and foundations of hockey - check out the below youth programs to sign up for a LTPH clinic!

    Learn To Skate

    Our Learn to Skate program is a great chance to get your child exposure to ice skating as they get ready for figure skating and/or hockey. Classes are offered to ages 3 and up. Adult classes are available as well. Children are placed into groups based on age and ability and will move up as the coaches see fit. After a child has mastered a level they will be tested by one of our professionals for placement.
