About Woodruff Family YMCA

The Central Connecticut Coast YMCA is a charitable organization that is devoted to making a positive difference in our community. Through our programs, we strive to foster healthy spirits, minds, and bodies for all. Our YMCA is dedicated to creating an environment where people of all ages can come together to learn and grow. We have the privilege of serving twenty-four towns and cities in the Greater Bridgeport and New Haven areas, with a special emphasis on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Furthermore, we facilitate special programs and services through YMCA Camp Hi-Rock in Mount Washington, MA. Our YMCA is committed to incorporating Judeo-Christian principles into our everyday practice. We are devoted to building strong foundations for families and communities by providing a safe and supportive environment for all. Together, we can ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilled life.

AFTER SCHOOL
What are your kids doing after school? At YMCA School Age Child Care program kids build self-esteem, values and leadership skills. You’ll know they are growing and exploring their potential; they’ll think they are just having fun! Our After School Program provides a safe environment where kids can focus on developing confidence and character with trained teachers and site directors guiding them.

Exploring nature, swimming, and making new friends are just some aspects of the experience of participating in Day Camp. As summer approaches, the Woodruff Family Y reminds parents that camping is a unique and invaluable experience for children and teens.
