Our commitment to our students goes beyond the courses and dive experience we offer. We are independent of any equipment manufacturer, so when we recommend gear to our students, we can make sure it’s the right fit for them, not just the gear we have in stock. With this approach, Hamden Scuba is the perfect place for any beginner to start their scuba adventure.

Open Water Diver Course
The PADI Open Water course is the entry level course to get you started as an independent scuba diver. Completed over 3 days it includes knowledge development and training dives.

Adventure Diver
The Adventure Diver program is designed to add both skills and experience to the Open Water program. There is both Knowledge Development and 3 training dives invlolved in the program.

Advanced Open Water Diver
The Advanced Open Water course takes the Open Water Diver depth limit to 100ft. Consisting of 5 Adventure dives including Deep and Navigation, the AOW brings new challenges and opportunituies to go further and do more.
