    After School Art-ventures for Kids

    Art venturers explore many whimsical and original art forms and techniques, discovering clay and collage, painting and drawing, mask-making and decorating, just to name a few! Sculpt colorful hybrid creatures in clay pots. Design ceramic robots, celestial wind chimes, and awesome airplanes. Decorate birdhouses, wooden guitars, and goofy masks. Create cityscape printmaking, letter collages, and panda drawings. Even make your tape resist t-shirts! Plus, hear wonderful stories, such as "Where the Wild Things Are" or "Nova the Robot," that go hand-in-hand with each project. Humor and surprises are always included. Explore, experiment, and create! Art-ventures bring home awesome works of art each week! So much FUN! This is an 8-week session.

    After School Childcare at Kelly Lane School (K-2)

    Granby Parks and Recreation is now offering after-school care to be held at Kelly Lane School for children in grades K-2. The program will run Monday - Friday from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. Children will be dismissed from their classrooms after school and brought directly to the cafeteria. The Director of the program is Melissa Young, the current Media Teaching Assistant at Kelly Lane School. During the two hours of aftercare, your child will be kept busy with many fun games, crafts, and gym time.

    Soccer Shots (Ages 3 - 6)

    Soccer Shots Classic is designed for 3 - 6-year-old children as an introduction to soccer. Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. We also highlight positive character traits each session such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation. Soccer balls are provided during this 8-week program.
