About Evjen Academy of Performing Arts

The Evjen Academy opened in January 2006 in a small studio on Mountain Road and since then, our dancers and faculty have worked hard to make the studio a thriving and successful one. Our dancers are taught to reach for their goals with determination, perseverance and sweat. We offer technique classes, rehearsals for performances and strive to help each dancer reach their personal best. We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our dance family. Our goals are to continue to build confidence, poise and strength in each of our students and to foster a sense of community and giving back. Our warm and inviting atmosphere will be sure to make you feel right at home!

TEENYS: AGES 2-3 YEARS
Teeny Ballerinys and Terrific Tappers are our littlest dancers. This class will learn foundational ballet and tap technique in a way that is fun and memorable for their young minds. Creative movement, educational dance games and a sprinkling of other styles (like jazz, lyrical and hip hop) will also be included!

PETITES: AGES 4-6 YEARS
Our Prima classes are designed to encourage the child’s natural creativity while building on the important basics of dance technique. We offer several classes encompassing ballet, tap, tumbling and wee bop hip hop!

MINI DANCERS COMBO CLASSES: AGES 6-8 YRS
Our mini dancer combo classes allow young dancers to gain experience in several styles of dance! Dancers will expand their dance terminology and focus on proper technique, while continuing to grow their love of dance!
