About Clinton Family Theatre

Clinton Park & Rec's Clinton Family Theatre is a beloved staple of the Connecticut shoreline. For over 30 years, this community theatre organization has been bringing joy and entertainment to the area with its productions. Through the creative vision of director John Lampe, choreographer Diana Dart-Harris, and producer Kim Erickson, the theatre has been providing audiences with quality musical theatre since its inception in 1989. What makes the Clinton Family Theatre unique is its commitment to provide an opportunity for performers of all ages. Many of the cast members come from Clinton and surrounding towns, giving neighbors a chance to come together and share in a common interest. The theatre is truly a special part of the community and the perfect place to enjoy a night of musical entertainment.

A place where children can learn about theatre but it is a place where children and their families experience an environment where they are welcomed, accepted for who they are, and, most of all, they are family. At CFT we take pride in the fact that so many of our students remain with us throughout their elementary, middle, and high school years.
