At Lasting Adventures, Inc., we believe that the outdoors is a key part of a healthy, happy lifestyle for everyone. That's why we're committed to being America's top provider of environmental education and wilderness stewardship. We offer a wide range of services, from backpacking trips and day hikes to outdoor youth summer camps, and we even provide scholarships to make sure that everyone is able to benefit from our programs. We've been in operation since 1997 and have had the pleasure of introducing thousands of youth to nature and the wilderness. Our 501(c)(3) public benefit nonprofit organization is dedicated to seeding youth, families, and disadvantaged communities with impactful, positive experiences in America’s National Parks. We hope that these experiences will provide lasting memories and foster a love of the outdoors that will last a lifetime.

Adventure-Based Ootdoor Education Program

In collaboration with leaders from participating institutions, our guides and counselors develop a customized curriculum for every outdoor education group to participate. These curricula generally focus on some or all of the following emphases, tailored to accommodate each specific group. With all of our outdoor ed programs, participants engage together in a variety of safe adventure activities, educational games, and the experiential learning cycle within some of America’s most beloved National Parks. The daily activities included in our Outdoor Ed programs have been developed over our 23-year history as Yosemite’s leading youth adventure-based educator, and are vetted to ensure positive experiences in alignment with our core values.

Family Adventure Programs

Lasting Adventures has evolved into the leading provider of Family Adventure Programming in the National Parks backcountry. Whether you are in the park for only a day or a week, or if your children are pre-teens and/or young adults; we are able to help you design an adventure that is sure to please all.

SCOUT PROGRAMS

Lasting Adventures was founded by an Eagle Scout who was forever changed through his scouting experience. Lasting Adventures offers custom outdoor adventure packages at discounted rates for scout groups of eight or more.
