About ANN & STEVE HINCHLIFFE SAN PEDRO & PENINSULA YMCA

Ann and Steve Hinchliffe have been a part of the YMCA family for more than four decades. It all began when their family signed up for two of the YMCA's key programs - Adventure Guides and Aquatics. Through these programs, the Hinchliffes were able to gain access to incredible experiences and form lifelong friendships. In line with their commitment to building a strong and equitable community, Ann and Steve decided to dedicate their time and energy to the YMCA. Steve joined the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles board of directors, while Ann joined the San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA board of managers. Both of them went on to serve as chairs of their respective boards, and have since devoted considerable time and resources to making their local community a better place. To recognize their hard work and dedication to service, the YMCA has decided to rename the Hinchliffes' home branch the Ann & Steve Hinchliffe San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA. It is a fitting tribute to the couple's commitment to bettering the lives of others.

Our Day Camps have inspired kids with countless opportunities to laugh, lead and make lasting friendships. Since your family's safety is our top priority, we have implemented safety protocols that follow state and local guidelines. It is our priority to help your children enjoy a safe and fun program where they can build lasting friendships.

Youth Classes
From introductory dance classes to specialty cooking classes, we pride ourselves on providing a safe environment where children can participate in fun activities that enrich, strengthen, and expand their opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. Introductory classes such as Dance I or Beginner Dance are free with an active family membership. Specialty classes such as Karate II or Advance Karate may be added for an additional cost.
