Galactic Adventure Art Camp

Join us, young space explorer, as we paint, draw, and sculpt our way outta the galaxy! Along the way, we'll draw friends like R2-D2 and BB-8, make our own space diorama complete with painted and glittered Styrofoam planets, and create galaxy slime! If you love paint, pastels, and outer space, you won't want to miss out on this Galactic Adventure Art Camp!

Early Engineers

We offer Early Engineers because too many children shy away from math and science. We want our kids, and yours, to be exposed to topics like velocity, bioluminescence, Newton’s Laws, levers & fulcrum, centripetal & centrifugal forces, reflection & refraction of light, and many more, in a fun-filled, interactive, kid-friendly, project-based learning environment. That way, when they go off to Junior High and High School, they will be more comfortable and willing to raise their hand when these topics come up. Familiarity now, will lead to the confidence to engage later. And we do this using their favorite building materials like Lego Bricks and K’nex blocks. As you can imagine, Early Engineers has been our flagship afterschool program for over 14 years. Kids absolutely love to show off their creations to their friends in class.

Firefly Art

Are you looking for an Art Class that your child can attend every week, a class that grows with your child, is fun, engaging, and encouraging all the while being extremely affordable? Look no further, 'cause you just found it! Our Firefly Art teaches drawing skills with a variety of art media (like soft pastels, markers, oil pastels, watercolor pencils, mixed media etc), but it doesn’t stop there. It also teaches children life skills like embracing “mistakes” as part of life, by learning to move through those mistakes, and beyond them. We want our students to be able to draw as a secondary means of communication, to relish in the creative process, and to also learn how to design creative solutions when we make "mistakes". We normally start each of our classes with a warm-up sketching project where kids get comfortable using sharpies to draw figures, and then move on to some serious art.
