Our teaching team is comprised of highly experienced and dedicated instructors with degrees from prestigious institutions like Julliard, Yale, Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (Germany), Royal Conservatoire The Hague (Netherlands), as well as universities in Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia. We offer lessons in classical & jazz piano, songwriting, all string instruments, guitar & bass, voice (all styles), saxophone, flute, and music theory. Our instructors are committed to providing the right musical and personal connection with every student. We can accommodate students who speak German, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
New World Music Academy is an institutional member of MTNA (Music Teacher’s National Association – US), so our instructors are affiliated with MTAC (Music Teacher’s Association of California – California), ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music – UK) and the RCM (Royal College of Music – Canada). This allows our instructors to prepare their students to excel in annual external testing programs sponsored by these respected organizations. We strive to provide the best education for our students and equip them with the necessary skills to excel in their musical endeavors.

Piano Lessons
We believe every student is unique and different in their own way. Therefore, why should lessons be any different? Each piano lesson is tailored to the individual student’s specific interests and needs.
While focusing on foundational elements such as proper technique, reading music, finger position etc., our teachers also help students learn songs they are familiar with. This includes movie theme music, popular songs on the radio, their favorite classical artist etc. This helps keep students motivated and pushing further to learn each week.
Guitar & Ukulele Lessons
Learning guitar & ukulele should be a fun process and something that students can enjoy for many years to come. That’s why our guitar teachers teach songs and material that students like. From rock to jazz and pop, we teach all genres and styles.
We teach children through adult players and tailor each lesson to the student’s goals and interests. Whether you are just starting out or if you are tired of trying to figure it out yourself on YouTube, we’ll help you reach your goals.

Voice Lessons
ll New World Music Academy voice teachers are classically trained and have an in-depth understanding of how the vocal cords work. Our students are taught proper warm-up and breathing techniques to help maximize range, vocal stability, and much more.
Every voice lesson is not created equal. Each lesson is tailored to the specific student’s interests and ability level. Whether you or your child want to learn how to successfully sing a song from your favorite soundtrack or something popular on the radio, we’ll help get you there!
