About Kids N Dance

Kids ‘N Dance ‘N Theater Arts has been a part of Bay Area culture since 1996. What started out as a small dance studio in Lafayette has now evolved to become On Stage, a program that offers a wide range of activities from dance to musical theater to circus arts. With the opening of our large facility in Oakland, we are now able to offer an even broader range of programming for children. Our founder, Kris Mueller, has a passion for inspiring students. Our instructors, curriculum and approach to teaching help students to express their creativity and build their self-esteem. We believe that children should be encouraged to explore their talents by engaging in activities that are both fun and educational. We strive to create experiences that bring out the best in each student.

LITTLE THEATER CAMPS: AGES 4-8
Voted one of the "Bay Area's Best of the Best" Theater Programs for a reason! This camp gives you a taste of why. They make crafts in our art room and have free time in our gym room with circus equipment, rope swings, elastic hammocks and more.

SUMMER ARTS CAMP - THEATER AND MORE ....: 1ST-5TH
Three weeks of the arts! You don't have to choose because we will do it all. Campers have plenty of time to build friendships, build relationships with staff, and develop a comfortable summer routine

After School Program
This is built into everything we do. Whether in the van on the way to the studio, over snack, while doing crafts, playing air hockey & Wii or in our gym room, everybody has a chance to check in about challenges and triumphs of their day. These are times when team-building and bonding is encouraged through guided activities and shared celebrations. Everything from mastering the monkey bars to acing a test gets “air-time.”
