They learn to experience each object by touching and tasting and using their bodies to learn problem solving skills. We maintain a ratio of less than 6 to 1. Play based curriculum is designed to promote creativity through self-discovery, curiosity and fun trials. Children learn to express creativity through art and independently engage in hands on activities. Music and Movement with rhymes and nasheeds are part of a daily routine. Many opportunities are provided to strengthen large motor skills in planned outdoor activities as well as to acquire language from the environment and to use words to express needs. We promote positive toilet training experience for the child working with the parent.

Preschool 3 – 4 Years
Our preschool program is all about encouraging their curiosity for learning through play and building confidence. We follow a curriculum based on the California Preschool Learning Foundations and Frameworks and Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD). Students engage in learning at their own entry points and are given multiple ways to respond. This model fosters a success-based, interactive environment that stresses cross-cultural respect and sensitivity and that values the family, community, and language of the child. Intentionally creating language rich environments, our preschool program is based on successful research-based strategies that is alive with words, aloud with language, and results in language-rich learning. This curriculum capitalizes on the strengths of the individual child as well as develops areas that need improvement, is developmentally, linguistically and culturally appropriate, and acknowledges and embraces diversity.

Transitional Kindergarten (4 years and 9 months) & Kindergarten
These foundation years empower learners with project based learning, immersion in English & Arabic languages to develop literacy and critical thinking skills across core subjects, Islamic Studies, Arabic and Quran throughout their day! Common Core Standard based McGraw Hill curriculum for Language Arts and Social Studies is used to develop foundational skills that prepare students for later learning in all content areas. The students develop phonological awareness so they can decode words and analyze what they are reading using a program called Raz Kids. Students begin to develop writing skills by using a combination of drawing, dictation, and handwriting to express opinions, relate an event, or provide information.
