About Redwood Adventure Camp

Camp provides a safe and secure environment for children to learn, grow, and have fun. Campers and staff are empowered to become leaders, to develop spiritual and personal growth, and to build lasting friendships. We provide an opportunity for campers to learn to navigate life’s challenges and serve the broader community. We believe that each person can have a positive influence on our world and to that end, we use the example of a young seminarian named Michael. His example of reaching out to others, helping them, and using the gifts and talents God gave him serves as an inspiration for campers and staff alike. At camp, campers are surrounded by nature and taught to respect the environment. Through our Nature Program, campers learn the Leave-No-Trace wilderness ethic and the names of local trees and plants. We ask campers and staff to respect all life and avoid the unnecessary picking of leaves or killing of bugs. Campers are encouraged to take this "Michael-like" spirit home with them, helping to make our world more loving and life-giving.

Youth Programs
A true sleep-away-camp experience for campers going into 5th – 12th grades. Make friends that will last a lifetime as you adventure together in the majestic California redwoods.

Family Camp
This is your chance to bring the entire family to Camp. Most of our Core program activities are offered and directed by skilled staff persons. Participants can be involved as much or as little as they like. Special age group activities with camp counselors allow parents to play on their own while being assured that their children are being cared for. Participants will gather each day for morning reflections and each evening for campfire. Our kitchen staff will prepare all meals and snacks, eliminating the need to pack anything but your sense of adventure!
