About El Camino Pines
At El Camino Pines, you and your family can experience the best of both worlds: a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and a chance to get back to nature and connect with your faith. With a capacity of 128 guests, this year-round camp offers weekend retreats, Outdoor School, summer and winter camps, and is proudly affiliated with the Lutheran church.
The ten heated cabins are equipped with bathrooms, and there is a centrally located shower house. The chapel and dining hall each hold 150 guests, with a speaker's cabin and remote hermitage cabin available for an additional cost. There is an array of recreational activities offered, such as community dynamics courses, rock wall, archery, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball, gaga pit, 9-square, disc golf, a swimming pool, and plenty of hiking and outdoor relaxation amid the tall pines. A campfire ring and outdoor worship spaces are also available for meaningful worships.
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Explorers
Our Explorers program is designed to gently introduce younger campers (2nd-4th grade) to all the fun and excitement of summer camp. Explorers enjoy traditional camp activities like hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, Bible study and evening campfires. Mini-weeks are available, making this program is a great introduction to camp.
Pioneers
Pioneers are students finishing 4th- 6th grade. This popular program is designed for new and returning campers who are ready for a full week of fun! Pioneers add on to our standard camp activities of hiking, swimming, Bible study, archery, campfires, and crafts with options like low ropes and camp-outs.
Discoverers
Discoverers are students finishing 7th-10th grade and are old enough to participate in everything El Camino Pines has to offer. In addition to all the traditional camp activities, Discoverers are challenged to grow in character and to help create the Christian camp experience with their cabin group.
