About Encinitas Express Soccer

The Encinitas Soccer League is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the communities of Encinitas, South Carlsbad, and Cardiff since 1977. Our goal is to provide quality soccer programs for kids aged 5 to 19 years old. Every year, more than 2,000 children take part in our program, learning the fundamentals of the game as well as the importance of teamwork. Express Soccer Club is proud to be US Youth Soccer approved. We strive to offer the highest quality soccer instruction to all of our players. Our experienced coaches and staff work hard to create a safe and supportive environment where kids can develop their skills and learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship. At the Encinitas Soccer League, we recognize the importance of physical activity and the positive effects that playing a sport can have on a child. We are dedicated to providing a fun and healthy way for kids to learn the game of soccer and make lasting friendships.

SUMMER FIRST TOUCH SOCCER CAMPS

First Touch Camps focus on technical skills by getting players as many touches on the ball as possible. Players will be in groups no larger than 12 players and the camp will focus on individual skills - conditioning, footwork, passing and shooting - while incorporating fun competitions and games.

Spring Express Junior Training Sessions

This 4-week clinic series will start the week of March 6th and run through March 30th. Players will be grouped with friends (we will do our best to accommodate) or players of like age and ability in groups no larger than 12. Sessions will focus on individual skills - conditioning, footwork, passing and shooting. Sessions will run Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday to accommodate players' schedules.

Intro to Futsal Clinics

Our Intro to Futsal clinic is designed for players from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This program introduces the player to the basic game understanding and foundational skills of Futsal. The four training sessions will focus on Dribbling, Ball Control, Passing, Receiving and Scoring. Each session will end with a game. Players need to wear Futsal shoes, or flat soled athletic shoes. All activities will be played on a hard surface, so NO CLEATS. All players should wear shin guards. All players will receive an Express Futsal T-shirt.
