About National Youth Sports- South

Our programs are designed to promote physical, mental, and moral development while encouraging good sportsmanship and citizenship. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all youth, families, and communities to grow and learn through the joy of amateur sports. We are committed to offering a rich variety of youth sports programs to the community, providing a safe and supportive environment for all participants. Our volunteer base helps to ensure that all people have access to amateur athletics and the opportunities to develop physically, mentally, and morally. Through our programs, we strive to make sportsmanship and citizenship a priority, while promoting good health and wellness. We believe that by providing these opportunities to youth, families, and communities, we can help build strong individuals, families, and communities.

Sports Program
NYS offers a wide variety of sports for kids ages 3 to 16 years old. In 2004, NYS added 8-Man Tackle Football to its lineup and now operates both 8-Man and 11-Man Tackle Football programs with over 15,000 participants per year. Hundreds of tackle teams look forward to our annual National Tackle Championship tournament, held every summer in San Diego, California.
