About Carmel Valley Tennis Camp

At CVTC, campers will have an unforgettable and enriching experience. Established in 1970, CVTC is a private sleep away tennis camp for all levels of tennis players ages 10-18. Our purpose is to encourage young people to love the game of tennis in a wholesome and fun camp setting. CVTC is an electronics free tennis camp (unplugged) so campers and counselors have a break from technology, making it easier for them to make connections and develop lifelong friendships. Our program is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). This accreditation ensures that campers are safe and receive quality instruction. All campers are allowed to participate in all activities offered, from tennis lessons and match play to ropes course, archery, swimming pool, hot tub, art house and many more. With 10 tennis groups of 4-6 campers each, CVTC is suitable for all levels - from beginner to ranked tournament players. So come join us at CVTC and have an unforgettable and enriching experience!

Tennis Camp
Our purpose is to encourage young people to love the game of tennis in a wholesome and fun camp setting. Good Sportsmanship is the cornerstone of our program. Tennis is a sport for a lifetime that develops focus, perseverance, and great physical health. Campers become more skilled tennis players and learn a lot about tennis – good sportsmanship, focus and the mental game, strokes, movement, strategy, video analysis, conditioning and match play. Campers get a balance of hitting lots of balls in game-based (live ball) drills in their lessons and match play during team tennis.
