About The Sewing Room

At our sewing and fashion classes, kids and adults alike can join in on the fun. Our instructors are carefully selected for their expertise in the needle arts and their ability to teach. Our classes make sewing an enjoyable and educational experience. We offer a wide variety of sewing classes, workshops, and camps to suit everyone's age and skill level. We’re proud to supply top quality Baby Lock Sewing Machines and PGM Professional Dress forms. We also have a wide selection of fabric, as well as patterns from indie designers like Bonjour Teaspoon, Tilly and the Buttons, Sew Demented, Violette Field Threads, and Alice Frost Designs. Our sewing room is open during classes, camps, and workshops, as well as by appointment. Come join us and start making your own fashion masterpieces!

Private Lessons
Private lessons are perfect at any level for Budding Designers, Fashion Students in either High School or College as well as the Beginning to Advanced Sewing Enthusiasts. In a private lesson, the student works one-on-one with an Instructor. Our Goal is to help build student CONFIDENCE by advancing their skills in sewing and/or pattern making. Private lessons are a FOCUSED way to gain the skills you need to move forward in your Goals.

Spring Break Sewing Camp
In this fun day camp students work on a project of their choice, picking from the Pattern selection and Fabric Kit collection and/or the coordinating American Girl Patterns that we carry at the sewing room. We have lots of fun sewing options, including tote bags, hats, dresses, shorts, skirts and More. Students are required to PURCHASE a PROJECT (fabric, pattern, trims etc.) from The Sewing Room, so that staff can assist in choosing a project that is suitable for the students' skill level.
