At Thunderbird F.C., the safety of our players is our number one priority - no exceptions! We're proud to be the sole club in the state that includes protective headgear as part of our uniform package. And rest assured, we make sure all our coaching staff annually undergo stringent background checks, SafeSport training, and first aid preparation. We're committed to creating the safest possible environment for our young athletes. Our philosophy at Thunderbird F.C. revolves around fostering the technical development of each player. We genuinely believe that this foundation paves the way for their future success in the sport. By improving technical skills, our players inevitably grow more confident, leading to enhanced performance on and off the field. And finally, to us, youth soccer is about much more than just winning. While we do believe in the value of victory, it's not our end-all and be-all at TFC. Our primary focus is on creating a fun, positive social and athletic experience for all our players. We strive to instill a love for the game and a team spirit that goes well beyond the soccer field. We want our players to enjoy the game, make lasting friendships, and grow personally and athletically.

TFC Little T-Birds Program

TFC runs an extraordinarily fun 6-week Little T-Birds program for Boys and Girls Born from 2018-2020- now with games on Saturdays!! Coached by TFC Professional Coaching Staff + Licensed Volunteer Coaches. For 45 minutes each practice, your player will be placed in a safe, high-energy, and exciting environment Professional coaches teach the beginning concepts of soccer. Fun activities with and without the soccer ball will have your player smiling Players will learn how to play real soccer games! Improves social and athletic skills and increases player confidence 3-1 Player-to-Coach Ratio Winter Program Overview Location: Practices at Great Hearts Academy and Games at Shea Middle School Practices: 5:45pm-6:30pm on Thursdays March 13, 20, 27, and April 3, 10, 17 at Great Hearts Academy- 14100 N 32nd St (practice start time depends on player’s birth year) Games: 8am or 9am Start Times on Saturdays March 15, 22, 29, and April 5, 12, 19 at Shea Middle School- 2728 E Shea Blvd

TFC Rec Soccer League

TFC runs an organized 6-week recreational soccer season for Boys and Girls born from 2009-2017. Communication is our specialty, and fun is our motto! We do an excellent job balancing out teams to make fair competition. We have 3 different age brackets that compete, so your players will be playing against other players with similar size and skill. Usually the brackets are 7-8 year olds, 9-10 year olds, an 11+ year olds. 6 Practices on Thursdays. 6 Games on weekends. Teams will play 9v9 including goalies (variable upon enrollment). League to be split into three brackets by player ages. Coached by TFC Professional Coaching Staff + Licensed Volunteer Coaches. Great for beginners and experienced players alike. Season is FUN and low-stress. Uniform Provided: Home + Away Sublimated Jerseys, Shorts, and Socks- NEW UNIFORMS FOR ALL PLAYERS THIS SEASON! Equipment Needed to Participate: Soccer Ball, Shin Guards, Cleats, TFC Uniform provided on 1st Day of League! About TFC Club Soccer

Thunderbird FC is a family-founded and family-run youth soccer club. TFC Club teams are coached by professional coaches with at least a US Soccer Federation D License. TFC is an Adidas Club, on year six of a seven year partnership. Our philosophy is around Player Safety, Technical Development, and Fun! Club Season Overview Detailed information can be found in the TFC Club Soccer Program Welcome Packet. Primary Practice Locations: Great Hearts Academy, Greenway Middle School, Venturoso Park, Bell94 Sports Complex The Club season starts in Mid-August and runs through March. We have weeks off for Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Spring Break. Practices and Home Games are located at one of the following locations: Great Hearts Academy- off of 32nd St and Thunderbird; Greenway Middle School- off of 32nd St and Greenway; Venturoso Park- off of 32nd St and Thunderbird; Bell94 Sports Complex- 94th St and Bell All 4v4 (2018, 2019) and 7v7 (2016, 2017) teams train twice a week; 9v9 (2014, 2015) and 11v11 (2009-2013) teams train three times a week. 9v9 and 11v11 teams participate in weekly 45-minute fitness training. High school aged 11v11 teams break for December and January for the high school season. Individuals not playing high school can continue to train with the club. Teams will participate in Arizona Soccer Association leagues and enter into at least four tournaments a year. Our Adidas uniform package includes a soccer bag, home jersey, away jersey, practice jersey, shorts, and socks. We also offer optional protective headgear for our players. The club uses industry leader PlayMetrics for its registration, scheduling, and communication platform. The club has VEO cameras to record games for all teams during the year. All teams have a dedicated parent manager, who all absolutely rock.
